If you love guitar or are new to it, then you might be wondering where to begin. Getting to learn guitar scales is always a good place to start. You do not have to know the notes in order to do this. There are a few things with it though that might be able to help you.

First of all, you need to know how to hold the guitar. Some of the positions of the hand are awkward if you are not holding it properly. They have all sorts of resources that can help you learn how to stroke and what not. You also need to know where to place your fingers.

You also need to familiarize yourself with where your fingers go. If this is your first time with the guitar, get acquainted with it. That is the best thing to do so it does not feel so uncomfortable when you go to start learning scales.

From there, you need to know the relationship between chords and notes. Notes and chords go together. I think you get that picture. Now, with every chord there are three notes in that chord. If you remember that then you have a good understanding of how scales work.

While people will try to tell you how to do it, there is nothing made simple to teach you. Books are a good referencing point. Humans normally work better as they can better explain than a book can. They can give further explanation.

SO, these are the tools to make those scales happen. When you learn them, you will be able to memorize notes and be able to play music. Just as a reminder though, you do not have to know the notes in order to do the scales. Many people think that you do but that is all a myth. So happy playing to you! - 31872
